Life Purpose Definition

Your Life Purpose is who you have always been--it is what gives meaning to your life. It is why you are here on Earth. You have lived it more than you know it.

It is an overall, pervading theme that is woven throughout the many stages of your life. It shows up in the impact you create on others and your contribution to the planet. Most of us do have a sense of what our real reason for being here is.

Some questions you may ask yourself while getting in touch with your Life Purpose are:

What gives your life meaning?
What do you notice as the main themes in your life?
What is your contribution meant to be during your lifetime?

Often your career choice, especially if you love what you do, will reflect your Life Purpose. Some examples:

Doctor--to have a healing influence
Restaurant Owner--to promote fun and relaxation
Coach-- to motivate others to be their best, to be a catalyst

Life Purpose begins from within and expresses itself in almost every area of your life. The more you are in touch with your Life Purpose the more you will notice how it drives you and can drive you to achieve what you want as an internally motivating factor.

When you are living from your Life Purpose, the Gremlin, (a person's inner critic/that which holds you back) gets out of the way. The process of uncovering your Life Purpose can take days, weeks, months, or years--it's like peeling an onion, tweeking a little here or there.

Coming from Life Purpose, as a way of being and doing, a Vision for your business life and personal life may become more clear; and you will begin to honor your most priceless Values, (that which is intrinsically important to you), consequently having more fulfillment and fun.
